God, being bored of staying alone comes to live as a human amongst humans...?

How can the temper of intellectuals be tolerated...?

God has saved us when we were in trouble.

Now God is in trouble. We must save him.

God was made to seek justice, standing like a common man in the witness box.

A God is born with every child that is born & A God is dead with every person who dies...

The play is written by Sri. N C Mahesh, lecturer Kannada department, National college, Basavanagudi, Bangalore. This play won the first prize in Prof B C Memorial play writing competition organised by Suchitra Kalakendra.

The play is directed by Sri Hirianniah Haranahalli, well known theatre, small screen & big screen artiste. He has won Karnataka Natak Academy's award,

Music for the play is composed by renowned musician Mr. Shashidhara Kote.

Lyrics by Sri. N C Mahesh.

Dance for the play is choreographed by Smt Deepa Narayan, famous small screen artiste.

Associated Amateur Artistes recently staged a unique play in Kannada ‘ENMADOKKEAGUTTE’ at Dr. H N Kalakshetra, National College, Jayanagar on 1st, 2nd, & 3rd October 2007.
Dr. Krishna Raghavendra,( http://www.raghasmusic.com/) a virtuoso on the veena & well known for his detachable veena. He composed ‘NI DA MA DA’ based on atrue story.
Dr. Krishna Raghavendra proposed to Hirianniah Haranahalli, one of the founders of Associated Amateur Artistes to dramatise the music composition ‘NI DA MA DA’.
It was a challenge. It is easier to compose music for a play. But to create drama for music? Accepted the challenge & the new production was staged.
Madhu Koundinya & Hirianniah Haranahalli, scripted the drama. Kum Vidya Venkatram, well known dancer in both classical & contemporary forms has done the choreography.
The cast: Madhu Koundinya, Narendra Kashyap, Aditi Murthy, Yashaswini D, Sumitra, Misha Bhaskar.
The Dancers: Lata KV, Vijayalashmi, Samudhyatha, Jyothi,
Leelesh, Arvind, Murali & Manoj

Associated Amateur Artistes

Associated Amateur Artistes was founded in 1966 by a group of youngsters interested in theatre to learn about theatre & to promote meaningful & healthy theatrical activities.

Associated Amateur Artistes has many achievements to its credit. Some of them are:
Pioneers in using distorted sets
First to use levels in theatre in Bangalore
First to produce late T P Kailasam’s ‘Soolay’ with amateur artistes portraying the various roles of the play.
Changing the climax of Late Niranjana’s ‘Sangamasnana’ & gaining appreciation from the author.
First to produce Dr. Anupama Niranjana’s ‘Kallola’
Training all the members of the association in Make up, stage craft & lighting.
First to train its members in theatre management, including theatre economics.
Published bi-monthly magazine ‘Natyabharati’
First to produce V K Murthy’s ‘Varnandha’, a full length court room drama.
First to produce Late T P Kailasam’s ‘Gandaskathru & Henninabalu kannire’ together.

Associated Amateur Artistes is now producing ‘ENMADOKKEAGUTTE’ scripted by
Mr. Madhu Koundinya & Mr. Hirianniah Haranahalli. The play is based on the music composition ‘Nee Da Ma Da’ by Dr. Krishna Raghavendra, in a unique style.

Associated Amateur Artistes intends producing new kannada plays such as Mr. N C Mahesh’s ‘Bidi Naanu Devaragey Iraballe’ , ‘Mattondu Prema Kathey’ & Late T P Kailasam’s ‘Soolay’ in the coming months.
